Residential development Hinter Gärten, Riehen

The “Hinter Gärten” development with a total of fifty-seven dwellings is being erected on the site of a former tree nursery in Riehen. In terms of granularity, the three different building typologies—terraced houses, linear blocks, and point block houses—respond appropriately to the existing heterogeneity of the neighbouring developments, offering a wide range of different forms of living. The central square is a meeting place and recreational space and enables social interaction of residents.
